'Ode To Clio' fulfils the growing reputation of the band's intricate and eclectic style, blending serene melodies with tumultuous rhythms. The song, which took a year to perfect, is described by the band as a "nonsensical collage of people and relationships," stitched together by Clio Starwood's captivating violin melody.

Man/Woman/Chainsaw, composed of Billy Ward (vocals, guitars), Emmie-Mae Avery (vocals, keys/synths), Vera Leppänen (vocals, bass), Clio Starwood (violin), and Lola Cherry (drums), have garnered significant attention with their raucous and joyous performances. Their previous single, 'What Lucy Found There' first brought them into the spotlight.

Their debut EP has been recorded with Daniel Fox of Gilla Band at Echo Zoo studio, where the group crafted their cinematic yet chaotic sound. Billy Ward articulates their creative process, emphasising the thrilling balance between beauty and noise that defines their music.

With their recent milestone of 100 gigs and a busy touring schedule ahead, including appearances at the Green Man Festival and dates with Thus Love, Man/Woman/Chainsaw is poised for a significant breakthrough. Their debut on Fat Possum Records is a promising step in what is sure to be an exciting year for the band.
